Plans for the number of McDonald's signs illuminated last month have been approved
The fast food company has been granted permission from the North Yorkshire Council to display two illuminated “McDonald's” lettering signs. Illuminated “Payment” lettering sign, 5 lighted digital signs, 1 lighted drive totem, 1. Height limit goal post, two drive-through canopies, 26 dot signs.
Work is now underway on-site as it is expected to generate 95 full-time direct and indirect jobs during construction and develop £5 million of spending in the local economy annually.
A MacDonalds spokesperson said, “We are excited about the opportunity to open a restaurant in Malton in the second half of 2025. The restaurant will bring significant investments to our local area and offer up to 120 full-time and part-time jobs.”
