North Yorkshire police are looking for 25-year-old Brandon Oliver after a man was stabbed at Cornlands Road around noon yesterday.
The incident, reported to police by ambulance service, involved a man with a serious stab wound to his leg. He is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Oliver, 25 years old and native of York, is thought to be still in town. He is said to be white with an ald head, stubble, and is a medium build.

A unit spokesman said: “The suspect and the victim know each other. We don't recognize the threat to more and more public people, but we should be careful not to get close to the suspect if people meet him. Highly recommended.
“It's a crime to be suspected of being a criminal. Anyone who has helped Brandon Oliver avoid the police will be arrested.”
