I heard a lot of good things about the restaurant called Leeds Ox Club. The name clue was that it was a meat mecca. A restaurant was added to the list of places I want to visit last year. Last year, for my birthday present, my kids bought a voucher for a meal at the Ox Club.
When I tried to make a reservation, it was clearly a popular place because there was no free table online. Eventually, I booked a slot at 6:00 pm on Thursday night, three weeks after Christmas. Until then, I was able to get the long -awaited hip exchange date 10 days before the reservation. I thought about canceling the reservation, but the restaurant is on the first floor of the headlaw house building, so it may be perfect to be looking forward to posting an OP as long as you can get in the car. yeah. I was very happy.
The restaurant itself has been open since 2016, gradually gaining reputation and has been awarded many awards. It is only part of the headlaw house complex located in the headlaw's former fiber factory. They have won many awards since the opening, and have been referred to in the Michelin Guide and Good Food Guide without stars and plates.

Ox Club explains himself as “modern British solid fuel restaurant that introduces Yorkshire's best agricultural products.” Their menu is full of simple but imaginary dishes that change every day depending on the seasonal agricultural products that can be used by suppliers. They are proud champions of local and local producers, and are supplied from small North Yorkshire family -run farms. Swaldale Foods and R & J ButchersFish supplied in the North Sea Hodgson's HARTLEPool Fresh fruits and vegetables of well. The latest list of suppliers is proudly on a chalk board near the open kitchen.

We were dropped on our head and walked through the archway to the head house. Anyone who knows the Leeds Center for many years was a very dangerous bar called Big Lil's, which was once an experience for all wrong reasons!
On the left side on the right was the neon fluorescent sign that the Ox Club said. It was easy to find it.
We arrived and contacted us in advance to check the accessibility, so we were kindly sitting at a table at the upper level, so I need to deal with some steps. There was not -a nice touch. In this place, there were two tables and four tables in some rooms with exposed bricks. Plants and palms were scattered, and some fold -like artworks were hanging. There was a nice ham from the kitchen staff, and I was clearly enjoying their work and enjoying the dried trees and the mountains of British charcoal to later use on the grill.

The white tiled kitchen had a wide view, and the solid fuel grille imported from the United States was burned by raising various flesh towards flames and cooking using smoke and heat.
A drink menu was given and I ordered a smoked margarita. These were well made and provided with thick crystal salt.
Our waiter showed us a food menu, talked to us through it, and slowly recommended venison Covuta. He also proposed some crisp pig tails as snacks in our cocktails, but we have already found a 1kg Cote de Bowf, so we are worried that we will be too fast. I was doing it.

My wife decided to skip the starter, but I went with the waiter's proposal. The venison Kovta was made of venison supplied from the hairwood house estate. It was soft, very low -fat, and the cherry GL medicine was sweet and sour. It was provided with a really delicious flat bread. Very more interesting than I need, and probably more stuffed.
The starter combined a very simple cooking style and a bold flavor that I am a fan.

We don't eat much lean meat at home, but when you go out, there is a great TREAT run for the steak. Ox Club has built the meat, and the meal is a delayed TREAT run we have decided (without too many administration), and ordered a 1kg coat deboouf with Salsaverede and pepper corn sauce. 。 We ordered some of the Kofman Fried Potatoes, winter leaves, beat routes and walnuts with citrus dressings. We were in advance that cooking could take more than 40 minutes.
With the expert grillmaster, I was able to see the meat up and down on the grill. We ordered a bottle of red wine in the house while waiting. It was a village of Les COTEAUX COTE DU RHONE, which exceeded 30 pounds. This was a fruity branbie wine with spices touch. After the first bite, I knew that it was completely suitable with the grill beef.

When the Court de Bowf finally came and was delivered to the table, both said they were amazing. I looked like a completely cooked, inner pink with a fat -rich layer. We pushed it in, but I thought it might be necessary to order extra french fries and sides when we ate, but there are enough. We ran on a large platter, but finally reached the limit of red meat at night a long time ago.

Interestingly, I have never heard of Kofman Fly, but I explained that the waiter was named after a famous chef called Pierre Coffman. Apparently, the french potatoes are doubled, crushed with a mixture of light spices, fried, and frozen immediately until they need. I have to admit, they were good, the outside was really crispy, and the inside was soft and fluffy.
One of the waitresses is to collect the remaining meat and put it in a bag to take it home for a very lucky black Labrador, which we were trying to share our very special TREAT running. I did!
My wife ordered peppermint tea to help her by digesting, claiming that she was too full of desserts, but I was impressed with something very sweet. Of the three deserts, the baked busque cheesecake, baked alaska, and panna cotta, I went to York Shal Burn and Butter Milk Pannacotta.

It didn't take much time for dessert to come. Waitress brought two spoons and took it to himself, as he saw his wife and said, “Just in case.” The dessert was nice, the rhubarb was very sweet, a wonderful creamy, perfect Panna Cotta. Probably my only criticism was that I was providing an extra spoon that I had to share !!!!

The overall experience at OX Club was wonderful. It was necessary for recovery after being trapped at home after the first week of the post hip OP cabin fever. Great food, nice staff, unusual environment. In addition, we were surprised when the bill arrived, not only to take off the voucher from my kids, but also to remove 25 % as an offer in mid -January, which was unknown in advance. !
