Along the 1,000-acre country estate, Sandburn Hall is one of Yorkshire's main hospitality, golf, weddings, events and business venues, including a 40-bedroom hotel, an 18-hole Championship golf course, a Grand Hall, and a Tykes restaurant.
The VisityORK Award-winning judge said Sandburn Hall: “A hotel truly lives up to its clear identity and values. Being family-owned and independent is a real difference that gives it an opportunity to create a unique atmosphere.
Sandburn Hall is set to be announced at the Brighton Dome Corn Exchange on June 4th as one of 52 finalists in 16 categories from 1,800 regional hospitality venues at the National Visitengland Awards.

This recognition of Sandburn Hall follows the redesign and rediscovery of the Tykes restaurant, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, with the installation of 1,000 solar panels, generating roughly half the site's electricity consumption and working with Yorkshire-based Zenergy Solar.
