Winger Ebony Partington bagged a hat-trick, with both Tamjin Lenoff and new signature Jazz Rampton doubled their women's Super League rivals at Rand Hill in a dominant performance.
The director of Rugby Lindsay Ann Field was pleased to tell club media:
“It was exactly what we wanted and we brought that momentum from the preseason. We did it today because in the last few years we couldn't bring it into the game, so I'm really happy.”

New recruits Rampton and Australian halfback Ellie Williamson both started, but Demi Fisher came out of the bench following a move from Barrow.
Skipper and steel woman Sinead Peach also scored, playing an hour later, missing the entire season during her pregnancy.
The Huddersfield lineup included England International fullback Amelia Brown, who traded Valkyrie for the West Yorkshire Club during the offseason, and center Evizumi.
York was on the top off from the off, and it took Williamson just four minutes to put forward after Williamson took a Peach pass and ran through the gap from close range.
She later earned six conversions and tallied her personal points to 16.
Partton was the beneficiary of two neat right-sided shifts on either side of Rampton's effort at the opposite edge.
Rhiannion Marshall crashed from close range before Peach dummy digging a hole from half the dummy, but Huddersfield became 12 players for a slow hit, following Bethan Oates' Sin Bin.
Despite leading 32-0 on the break, Valkyrie didn't rely on glory and ran with five more tries in the second half.
Lampton went through the gap before Partton completed the match by collecting a loop-out pass and spreading a hat trick. Renouf then added her name twice to the scoresheet in a similar way.
Savannah Andrade completed his defeat late after breaking through the tired giant's defense.
Anfield is particularly pleased with his debutant, saying, “They are brilliantly equipped.
“Ellie Williamson came in and she's been here for a few months now, and she always seems to be playing with girls. She fits seamlessly and her kick game was the point.
“The Jazz Rampton and Evie Sexton on the far left were finished with some nice tries. I think they looked really strong in their defense.”
Valkyrie will return home on Sunday to welcome Featherstone Rover in the first doubleheader of the season.
