Hunmanby-based Spirit of Yorkshire has partnered with Heritage in the UK to launch Filey Bay Heritage Edition on 40 British Heritage sites across the UK.
The 46.5% ABV whiskey, said to be “light, fruity, full of life with notes of honey and caramel,” is a marriage between a former bourbon and former leather who have been matured at the site of a distillery for many years.
Joe Clark, director of the distillery, said:
“Our spirit is to respect tradition, but to do things in our way, so future generations can enjoy and love the land.
